It’s fair to say that over the last few months, especially since Israel and the US started bombing Iran, the world has become a more dangerous place. Iran’s closing of the Straits of Hormuz, the main corridor for oil, gas and petro-chemicals to Asia and the West is of great concern. The implications for world economies are serious, and presents the probability the standard of living we currently enjoy is heading south at a rate of knots. It has the real possibility of making the Great Depression of the 1930s look like a small bump in the road, and we will be affected one way or another. Tied to this is the current state of the world, its moral decline and the total disregard for one’s fellow man.
While its roots are much earlier, the present mainstream media fear campaign began in 2021 with mandates and lockdowns and has continued under various guises. The situation in the Middle East has Armageddon and nuclear war making headlines, as Zionists continue their Greater Israel project to expand their borders across the region, leaving some to believe we’re on the cusp of WW3 with its nuclear potential. Europe is in serious decline, no longer the power it once was due to support for Ukraine and self-imposed energy shortages. Meanwhile, Russia, China, India and South Korea grow their economies and military, as the US and Europe fall into disrepair.
There are many factors in play: mass-migration caused by US led aggression in Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq, has millions flooding into Europe diluting and destroying long established beliefs and customs. Zionist hostilities in Gaza and Lebanon are daily adding to these numbers along with several million from Ukraine. In a generation Europe will essentially be a dark-skinned population, bringing social collapse and disorder if trends continue. Many urban areas are now largely Muslim with laws protecting its unbridled expansion. The majority of leaders in a once Christian Europe, now forced to support this human tsunami in fear of internal unrest and localized terror campaigns.
Another issue is Liberalism. In Western countries, including our own, we see obedience to minority interests pushing gender ideology, abortion and euthanasia; with the rise of atheism, Satanism and the protection of Jews and Zionism. Under this Liberal covering goes the sexual abuse and sale of young women and children, illegal organ harvesting, and the record growth of drug distribution and addiction globally. Mass-shootings, rapes, murders and riots are at levels never seen before. Liberal theology has also made its way into the Christian church with women priests, homosexual pastors and gay marriage, now considered normal. And this is just a brief snapshot of the hard reality of today’s world. It will become a lot worse; darker and cruel, and more remote.
So, what does this mean for good-minded fellowships and God loving people? Jesus said it best, that while we live in Satan’s world we are not part of it. As our lovely brother reminded us recently, we are hid in Christ. Jesus, the Prophets and New Testament writers spoke of these days, but we are beginning to see the depth of corruption let loose in the world; the truth of Scripture now made clear before our eyes. It is not only a personal trial set before us, but the test of His Word. Do we believe what we are told by the media, or do we place our trust in His promise?
Because thou did keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of the trial that is about to come upon the entire world, to try those dwelling upon the earth. (Rev 3:10) YLT
Therefore brethren, it is their trial not our trial, we are already redeemed and sealed under the Name of Salvation; it is for those who are not, the LORD’s time of pushing and pulling a sleeping people. We in contrast are removed, resting in Christ through faith; ours is a Spiritual kingdom not one of empires and shadows.
Fear not, little flock: for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. (Luke 12:32)
So under promise, and in joy, we await our reward untroubled by the world, keeping the Faith of Jesus and the Commandments of God, hidden in His Kingdom forever…
In love and peace as always,
James
