A “beast” in Scripture is a power; a covenant; a portion of Gods Word. And God’s Word bears witness of God’s Word.
The beasts Daniel saw rise from the sea are Jesus Christ sacrifice, grace and truth removed, and the gospel of his salvation corrupted in four stages. In them is the “time, the times, and dividing of time” that mark our journey from “the son, to the father.”
